The Fuzzy Farm

Wilkinson Ranch and Farms is now featuring The Fuzzy Farm, this is so exciting!

About twenty years ago I bought my first horse, we built a barn and fenced some of our property. Before I knew it friends started asking to board their horses at our farm and as one thing lead to another my own little private barn slowly turned into a boarding stable. I just love it!  I get to do what I love most, taking care of animals, meeting people, spending time outside. Animals have always been my biggest passion in life so when the opportunity arose to finally add a dog kennel to the Wilkinson Farm, I was so thrilled and excited. The builders finished end of August and we opened our doors September 2015, it has been nothing but fun and rewarding. We have met the nicest pups and people, too and it seems everybody has a great time at The Fuzzy Farm!

Rates and Facility

 Required vaccinations:


  • DPP (Distemper, Parvo, Parainfluenza)
  • Bordetella (every 12 months)
  • Rabies

You have to bring a hard copy of your vaccination records every time you board. We send those home with you. 

Proof of rabies in form of rabies certificate is required!

Current license is required! 

This is important, make sure your pet is licensed with your county before you bring them. 



Because we want all of our pups to be happy and content we will not board aggressive dogs.  We understand that some dogs might be a little grumpy or territorial  or shy and  we do not mind at all to turn them out separately . However our kennel is not set up for dogs with dog or human aggression. We can also not accept dogs who suffer from separation anxiety, dogs that climb or jump fencing or dogs that like to dig out of fencing. These rules are for your dog's own safety.

Walks/$10 for 30 min
This service is available if you would like your dog to be walked - on long leash, for extra fun and exercise on our 100 acres of trails


Bath/starting at $25

25 lbs and under :$25

25-50 lbs : $35

50 and over: $40


If you would like your pup bathed before pick up, please let us know. Dogs are shampooed and conditioned and  towel dried before pick up.


Linens washed before pick up (blankets, sheets, small -non bulky bedding): $10





Prices 

(effective 04/01/2021, all prices always subject to change)

$45 /night ( 24 hrs, am to am) ,

$20 fee for afternoon pick up,

$25 /day care fee. (pm pick-up)


 

Complimentary play time

We believe the dogs should have fun, get to stretch and roam and play, so their play time is on us!

Pups typically get to go out at least three times a day to play, in our spacious, fenced doggy yards.

 

Spacious indoor/outdoor runs

The individual kennels consist of an indoor/outdoor area. The entire area for each dog is approximately 5x15 feet. Each kennel has clean stainless steel bowls and raised Kuranda cots.  Our building is heated in winter and air conditioned in the summer. 


What to bring

Owners are encouraged to bring old blankies or towels that smell like home, favorite toys and treats to make their pet's visit even more enjoyable. Bring your own food, pre-measured in ziplock bags or in a closed plastic container with a scoop
